David Hansen shortlisted
PRESS RELEASE COURTESY AUSTRALIAN BOOK REVIEW
David Hansen, co-winner of this year’s Calibre Prize for an Outstanding Essay, has been shortlisted for the 2010 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards.
His essay, ‘Seeing Truganini’, is one of three works shortlisted for The Alfred Deakin Prize for an Essay Advancing Public Debate, worth $15,000.
Australian Book Review and Copyright Agency Limited (CAL) congratulate Dr Hansen, Senior Researcher and Specialist in the Art Department of Sotheby’s Australia, on his prestigious nomination.
The winners of the 2010 Victorian Premier’s Literature Awards will be announced by Premier John Brumby at a special dinner at Federation Square on Tuesday, 28 September.
Entries in the fifth Calibre Prize for an Outstanding Essay are now invited.
